Stinging Insect Prevention Inspection
Spring is the perfect time of the year to get a Stinging Insect Prevention Inspection! New wasp, hornet, and yellow jacket queens are searching out new places to establish nests. Honey bees are getting ready to swarm and establish hives in wall voids and chimneys.
During our Inspection, we will use our new FLIR T300 Infrared Camera to find missing and improperly installed insulation. These are ideal places for new yellow jacket nests and honey bee hives. To the left is an Infrared picture of missing insulation.
We also inspect the perimeter of your home where stinging insects like to nest. We check under, over, and behind places where stinging insects build nests. We check out any outbuildings you may have as well.
We educate our customers on how to prevent further infestations without using any pesticides, chemicals, or poisons. We teach home owners what to look for to prevent themselves and their loved ones from getting stung in August and September.
Finally, we give the home owner a comprehensive report detailing our findings, noting future problem areas, repairs that should be made, and information specific to your particular situation.
Organic and all-natural pest control is more effective than hiring an exterminator, but it does take education and persistence.
Save on Your Energy Bill
If you make the repairs based upon our findings, you will not only hinder stinging insects, you will improve the weatherization of your house. Any money you spend on weatherizing your home is tax deductable and will lower your utility bill significantly!
